Worship Services

Worship events take place throughout the week so if Sundays don’t work for you, we may have an opportunity at another time.

If you would like to attend any of the meetings please contact the church office for details of the next meeting.

The office is open Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm except for Bank Holidays.

Our different congregations  worship and serve independently of each other, while remaining very much commited to St. Mark’s vision. In addition to the three Sunday congregations, on Friday evening there is a cafe style service in a local pub (additional details further down the page). You are welcome to any and all of these.

(Communion is celebrated at one of the Sunday services each week.)

9.15 am Congregation
A quieter, more traditional service, but including new songs as well as older familiar hymns.  There is strong sense of community and the congregation have an annual weekend away plus other social events.

6.30 pm Congregation
A relaxed and more contemporary service attended by many of our younger members as well as those who prefer lively music and more in depth preaching.

There is also a Family Service at Keighley Shared Church, Church Street, Keighley, starting at 10:45 am.

Plenty for the youngest members of the family as well as the oldest. Children up to the age of 11 leave the service after the first 15-20 minutes to go to their own groups. This is a noisy and busy service with a lot of families but attracts a wide age range of singles and couples as well.

After each Sunday service prayers are available from our ministry team. They are authorised and trained to pray with people, and will keep everything confidential.
There is a loop system for those with hearing loss. Services are recorded on audio tape.
Coffee and tea are available after each Sunday service which provides a good opportunity to get to know people.

9.00am Church Prayers and Holy Communion
A time for worship and prayer in the middle of the week.

Other Services

We also hold regular services in Tonson Court (a sheltered housing complex) and in local nursing homes.
