Sunday
St Marks tries to enable its different congregations to worship and serve independently of each other. In addition to three Sunday congregations, two others meet on Wednesday and Friday. You are welcome to any.
(Communion is celebrated at one of these services each week.)
9am Congregation A quieter, more traditional service, but including new songs as well as older familiar hymns.

10.30am Family Service - All Age Worship Plenty for the youngest members of the family as well as the oldest. Children up to the age of 8 leave the service after the first 15-20 minutes to go to their own groups.
6.30pm Congregation An opportunity to reflect on God's word, enjoy more contemporary worship and minister to each other's needs.

Monday
9.30am to 11am Under 5s St Mark's has a large hall with plenty of toys and activities. A chance for parents to let the children play and have rest and a cup of coffee.Takes place every weekday.
Church Council Meetings Parochial Church Council meetings take place about eleven times a year on second Monday evening of each month (except August).
Prayer Meetings St Mark's has a number of "prayer chains" which cover the life of the church in prayer. Once a month there is opportunity for these groups and others to gather for teaching about prayer, and to pray.
House Group Leaders Meetings House group leaders meet regularly either all together or in smaller groupings.
Tuesday

2pm to 3.30pm Over 60s A gathering for older church members to explore their faith
7.30pm to 8.30pm Ministry Team Prayer for Healing On first Tuesday of each month, an opportunity for those in need to receive the ministry of prayer.
Wednesday
9.00am Church Prayers and Holy Coomunion A time for worship and prayer in the middle of the week.
9.45am Coffee Shop All welcome, (closes 10.45am)

1pm Midweek Congregation A chance in the week to meet with God, worship Him, study His word and spend time with Him in prayer. Lunch is served from noon.

8.00pm House groups Church members meet together in homes on Wednesday evenings for house group studies and fellowship. Occasionally there are United Fellowship Evenings. These are instead of house groups and are open to everyone.
Alpha We usually run two or three Alpha Courses each year. This is an introduction to Christianity lasting one evening a week for about ten weeks. A light meal is followed by a short talk and then everyone is invited to question or discuss the subject. No question is too simple or too hard!
